Hi everyone!
As I’ve said, I’m putting together an updated version of in threes: a baby cardigan. I’ve taken to heart all of the feedback I’ve received over the past three years, and want to make this pattern as practical and functional as possible.
One of the biggest things I’ve noted is that some people feel that the pattern (with between 2-4 inches of positive ease in each size) runs a bit big.
Has this been an issue for you, and would you be interested in some re-sizing when I update the pattern? Re-sizing would most likely also feature the inclusion of a size 6 and a size 8…the biggest requests I get from knitters.
I’d really love to hear feedback from you all. Do you like the pattern as is? Would you like the sizes to be slightly reduced, featuring less ease in each size? Are you interested in sizes 6 and 8?
Thank you!
I’m knitting it for the first time so I can’t comment on how the pattern runs. I did measure my 2 year old and she was 21 inches and I am making the 18-24 months size since it says it runs big. She turned two in July but she is a petite two year old.
As far as making it in bigger sizes – yes, please! I have a 7 year old who would love one.
Beautiful pattern, I’m loving knitting it.
My niece is now 4 and growing like a bean so a larger size wouldn’t go astray! Other than that I love this pattern and found it a really wonderful way to push myself with my first project in years!
I too would love it in the larger sizes. I have made 2 (for 5 and 2 year old grand daughters). They love the sweater and the doll version as well. I received a notice of an update but I have not compared it to the fist version to see the changes.
Thank you for the lovely pattern,
Cindy
I have just knitted it for the first time. The newborn/6mth size. A can not judge sizing as I am not near the baby that will recieve it but I am very interested in bigger sizes. Little girls grow too quickly and in the blink of an eye I have a 7 year old.
I love this pattern! Thanksfor making it. Made it in newborn and for my 18 month granddaughter. I changed up the yarn and made in 4mm circulars and it came out great. Any chance of having it for grown up sizes?

Yes i would LOVE to have this pattern in a size 6,8,10+..my 6 yr old DD still squeezes into her size 5 and since she’s tall it’s definitely too small. But she loves it, and so do I. Would love to be able to knit her 2-3 more!
I just bought this pattern on ravelry. I LOVE it! And I would LOVE an update with larger sizes and slightly less positive ease!!! Any chance it’s available? Or that I could somehow upgrade the patter I bought? Yippie for a GREAT pattern!!
