Winter Wonderland

It’s certainly beginning to look like Christmas at our house. Between the snow day last week (which was fabulous) and the holiday decorations that have filled the first floor of the house, winter and the Christmas season are in full swing.

The decorating was certainly an adventure, as this was the first year that both girls were actively involved in the tree decorating. As a result, our Christmas tree certainly won’t be featured in any decorating magazines, but it certainly looks perfect in my eyes.

The snowfall was probably one of the highlights of the entire year. We spent hours with the girls out playing in the snow, building snowmen, making snow angels, stomping in the snow, watching movies, drinking hot chocolate, and playing together as a family. It was a day that I know I will remember when my children grow up.

Is it really almost Christmas? The time has flown by, yet again this year.

PS:  For those family and friends who keep up with the girls via their website, I want to let you know that I recently renewed and updated it, after it was down for a time.  Please let me know personally if you are missing the link!

  1. So cute. Hubby and I watched together. So adorable. Can’t wait to see the girls again! And isn’t tree decorating with the little ones fun? I just let the kids do the whole house this year. The Boy was in charge and H followed him around like a little puppy!
