In less than 48 hours I will be sitting on a plane, heading back to the states to see my family and friends.
It’s been over a year since my last trip to the states, and I can’t even begin to express how much I am looking forward to it.
Here are so of the things I am looking forward to most of all…
- seeing my family and friends
- eating a Chipotle burrito
- going to a real mall
- swimming and getting a suntan…in the real, honest to goodness SUN!
- going to the beach
- seeing my family and friends
- sitting on the screened in porch at my mom’s house, drinking a beer, watching the sailboats on the bay, and knitting.
The clock is ticking…
What… no getting a slurpee from 7-11 on that list? I can’t believe you’re not looking forward to that! HaHa!

Replace beer with a glass of merlot and knitting with James Patterson’s latest book and you’ve just described my dream day! (although I am willing and ready to try knitting!)

Sitting on the screened in porch by the water sounds like heaven…..I’ll be right up……..
PS….I knew Chipotle was right up near the top of that list…..don’t forget to pack your gift card…as if….
